Napa Cabbage: The name comes from a Japanese word meaning “vegetable leaves” and has a very nice delicate flavor. In China it’s used as a sign of prosperity! It’s a cruciferous vegetable and thus has some of the same benefits as other cruciferous vegetables like kale

and broccoli contain high amounts of compounds called glucosinolates. When eaten, they convert to other compounds called isothiocyanates and indoles that have been shown to have many anti-cancer properties against a wide range of cancers including breast cancer, lung cancer and others. Napa cabbage can also strengthen your immunity system, thanks to vitamin A and other antioxidants. Napa cabbage is also rich in fiber, calcium and heart-healthy and bone-friendly vitamin K.

Noni fruit: Very popular the world over for its antioxidant properties and its possible ability in reducing cell mutations which can lead to cancer. It has a higher ORAC value than red wine which is famous for its much touted antioxidant benefits (ORAC scale measures

antioxidant content in various foods). Antioxidants help fight excess free radicals which contribute to onset of heart disease, cancer, arthritis, faster aging & wrinkles. There are studies on noni fruit which show very high ability to scavenger free radicals, in fact almost 3 times higher than the well-known and highly-respected antioxidant vitamin C. There’s also a study showing a 30% to 80% reductions in the number of “carcinogen-DNA adduct formations” which, in the field of genetics, are considered a good biomarker (indicator) of cell mutations which can lead to cancer (when the body’s normal DNA repair mechanisms are not able to fully cope with the task at hand). There’s also a study on smokers showing a 50% reduction of DNA adduct formations, thanks to Noni juice.
